Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella, Rota Shore (Rota Spain) is seeking sources to perform aerial target towing in support of a live fire exercise. The services are required on 9 April 2018 and will take place in international waters near Larnaca, Cyprus. Brief Description The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform transporting, deployment, towing and recovery of air target for engagement by USN DDGs Objectives 1. Transport target to approved area 2. Conduct tracking run for tracking by PHALANX weapon System 3. Deploy and tow target with tow length of 22,000 feet 4. Deploy target with air speed of 225-350 knots and fly an altitude that ensures target altitude is no less than 500 feet. 5. Make approach run with target deployed to 20,000 yards 6. Tow target on station no less than 1.5 hours 7. Conduct at least one firing run for engagement by PHALANX weapon System 8. Recover towed target Please see the attached statement of work. Interested parties should send a capability statement to both email addresses included in this notice as soon as possible, but no later than 17:00 CEST on 5 April 2018.
