- The USDA Forest Service, Shoshone National Forest will be soliciting Requests for Proposals (RFP) under FAR Part 15.3 for work on the Warm Springs Bridge #1 - #532-1.63. (a) Description of work: The work includes but is not limited to; mobilization and demobilization, implementing traffic control plan including closing bridge and road closed ahead signs, removing existing bridge, salvaging bridge timber stringers, repairing concrete on abutments and pier, replacing wingwall timbers on abutments and installing abutment caps and pier cap, installing new timber superstructure, installing approach and bridge rails and object markers, and installing aggregate surface course. (b) Project Location: The project is located approximately 15 miles northwest of Dubois, Wyoming in the Shoshone National Forest. (c) The magnitude of the project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. (d) Preproposal tour: There is no scheduled preproposal tour. Interested offeror's are encouraged to visit the project site prior to submittal of prices and technical proposal. Interested offerors may obtain additional information by contacting the contracting officer Debbra Stulc by email djstulc@fs.fed.us. (f) Start Work: It is estimated that the notice to proceed under this contract will be issued approximately mid to late June, 2018. (g) Period of Performance. Work is anticipated to take 90 days to complete with a completion date no later than 10/31/2018. (h) This is a Total Small Business set-aside. (i) The solicitation with plans, specifications, and drawings is anticipated to be issued on or about 4/12/2018 with a due date of receipt of offers on 5/17/2018 at 15:00 MT.
