Description
J85 I-level RFP Q&A J85 Engine Repair Center RFP Site Visit Solicitation Number: FA8124-18-R-0005 Tinker Air Force Base is conducting a site visit for the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the J85 Intermediate Level Maintenance requirement. Two separate site visits will be offered. Please provide a separate response for each site visit requesting to attend. First Site Visit: The first site visit will be to Laughlin Air Force Base (LAFB), Del Rio, Texas. This site visit will allow for potential bidder to see the current how current ordering and receiving is being handled at LAFB to support the J85 I-level Maintenance. The successful contractor will be required to continue to order consumable parts and material at LAFB until September 2019 to support J85 I-level maintenance operations. Site Visit will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 10:00am CST at LAFB. Local POC will conduct this event. Interested vendors must to submit all attendee's names and other requested information by 3:00pm CST Monday April 9, 2018 to Ms. Carrie Williams at carrie.williams.7@us.af.mil and Ms. Rachel Gordon at rachel.gordon.1@us.af.mil. All attendees must have information submitted in order to attend this site visit. Any questions during this site visit need to be submitted to Ms. Carrie Williams at carrie.williams.7@us.af.mil and Ms. Rachel Gordon at rachel.gordon.1@us.af.mil in writing No Later Than Monday, April 16, 2018. No photos or interaction with current contractor employees will be allowed during the site visit. Second Site Visit: The second site visit will be to Columbus Air Force Base (CAFB), Columbus, Mississippi. This site visit will allow for potential vendors to inspect additional GFP and specialized tooling that will become available for use under this contract in October 2019. Site Visit will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 10:00 CST at CAFB. Interested vendors must to submit all attendee's names and other requested information by 3:00pm CST Wednesday, April 11, 2018 to Ms. Carrie Williams at carrie.williams.7@us.af.mil and Ms. Rachel Gordon at rachel.gordon.1@us.af.mil. All attendees must have information submitted in order to attend this site visit. No photos or interaction with current contractor employees will be allowed during the site visit. Registration: Registration will be conducted in advance. Interested participants in the site visit need to submit their request including Registration Form to Ms. Carrie Williams at carrie.williams.7@us.af.mil and Ms. Rachel Gordon at rachel.gordon.1@us.af.mil by the dates identified above. A separate request needs to be submitted for each site visit. Registration is open to United States Government Agencies and their Contractors only. Attendees are required to identify their nationality and their positions within the company they represent. This is a no-fee event and seating is limited. Five attendees will be allowed, per Company CAGE code. An email confirmation will be sent upon receipt along with one-on-one appointment times. Late registration and "walk-in" requests will NOT be permitted. Attendees must present a CURRENT photo ID (driver's license, military ID, company ID or passport) matching the attendee information submitted via the Registration Form to gain entry into the event. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to permit sufficient time for check-in. This is an UNCLASSIFIED event; no clearances are required. Questions should be limited to matters not involving classified and/or business proprietary matters. Additionally, questions received from potential offerors and Government responses will be posted through FedBizOpps. Any additional updates and timelines will be posted through FedBizOpps.
