- The Department of State Office of Acquisitions Management, on behalf of the Comptroller and Global Financial Services (CGFS) issues this special notice of its intent to negotiate a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order with Spectra Logic Corporation to provide annual maintenance for the Spectra Logic T-120 library back up system. Product description: ASM Gold w/SpectraGuard Next Business Day On Site Support (12mths) T120, 10 LTO-5, 120 slots. Spectra Logic is the manufacturer and sole provider for the above product. There are currently no authorized distributors and/or resellers for the specified product. Respond to this requirement by submitting written capabilities/specifications to the Contract Specialist at the email address provided. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responses received by the deadline located in this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government whether a competitive procurement is feasible may be based upon responses to this notice and is solely at the discretion of the Government. If no affirmative responses are received by the deadline provided in this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, an order will be placed with Spectra Logic. This purchase is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in conjunction with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. There is no solicitation package available.
