THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY.   This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. At this time, no formal solicitation document exists. Market Research is being conducted to Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business or HUBZone interests. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is trying to determine whether to set-aside an acquisition to provide Patient Lodging in Durham Virginia for the Durham VA Medical Center located at 508 Fulton St Durham, NC 27705. Contractor will guarantee 20 rooms per night. All rooms are non-smoking. Parking facilities shall be available with adequate lighting. All exterior doors, with direct access to guest quarters, will be locked and access controlled no later than 10:00 pm. Living quarters shall be provided with individual room-controlled heating and air conditioning (in season) and otherwise provide the ventilation necessary to maintain comfort for guests. Standard Lodging Facilities Services: Vending areas, 24-hour check in/out, access to fitness facilities, wake-up and message service, central TV antenna or Cable TV, room identification/directory signs and smoke detectors in hallways, air conditioning, ice machines, adequate parking space for all guests, TV/radio directory, local information packet, passenger/baggage loading zones, and secure luggage storage areas for guests when rooms are not immediately available for storage at check out. Contractor offers complimentary breakfast beginning at 6:30AM-9:30AM with diabetic dietary consideration. Contractor offers complimentary transportation service available not only to the Durham Veteran Administration Medical Center, but to restaurants, grocery, pharmacy and mall within a 5-mile radius of the hotel. This shuttle service is available beginning at 5:30AM-11:00PM Monday thru Friday and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00AM-1 1:00PM at the top and half of each hour daily. The NAICS 721110 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $32.5M.   If your company is interested in performing these services, please notify our office of your intent.   In response, please include the following: A positive statement of your intent to submit a quote as a prime contractor (capability statement). If any teaming or subcontracting possibilities are contemplated, please provide subcontractor s name and breakdown of labor and its performance cost. Evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, award dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers. Past performance references with points of contact and phone numbers. Provide FSS/GSA Contract # and expiration, if applicable.   Identify whether the firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories listed above. Your response is required by Wednesday, April 11, 2018 by 2:00PM EST. All capable Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses are encouraged to respond.   The Government will not pay for any information solicited.
