Description

The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to solicit a sole source contract for the Joint Project Manager for Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Contamination Avoidance (JPM NBC CA), Joint Agent Chemical Detector (JCAD) adaptor probe tips. The proposed contract action is required by Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD). This action is supported by the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). The proposed action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Smiths Detection Incorporated (Cage Code 23667), under the authority of FAR 6.302 1. In accordance with FAR 5.207 (c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
