- Solicitation Wage Determination Appendix A The Library of Congress, Collections Management Division (CMD) requires contract support to perform New Acquisition Processing (NAP) tasks such as: receiving and sorting new acquisition materials for NAP processing, reviewing each incoming item to the general collections and comparing it with the ILS record to ensure accuracy of the bibliographic, holdings and item records; updating the item status and (where applicable) the item location; identifying items that meet the criteria for fixed location shelving and performing the steps necessary to complete the fixed location assignment process; thinning the collections in designated stack areas by pulling items according to specific criteria; processing general collections items for transfer to off-site storage and applying appropriate labels to the physical piece; shelfreading; conducting preservation-related duties such as rehousing and stabilizing materials in the collection; transporting books, baskets and book trucks to and from the decks, between buildings, etc.; assembling trays (boxes), sizing materials into tray (boxes) and accessioning materials into the LAS system, and any related tasks. Each aspect of this project is described in detail as part of this statement of work. The Period of Performance is for one base year and four option years, July 19, 2018 - July 28, 2023.
