- The USFS R2 Contracting Office (AQM) will soon issue an RFQ for the items described below. We intend to used simplified acquisition procedures to solicit and award a purchase order with an award based upon a lowest price technically acceptable basis. Description The materials will be used for hazard tree mitigation at Spruce Lake near Del Norte, Colorado. This will require delivery to the site on the project date yet to be determined in Sept 2018. There will be no magazine at the site, so we expect some waiting time for the delivery driver. List of Supplies: - 50 grain Det Cord 600 meters - 18 grain Det Cord 6000 meters - Nonel Lead in Line 2 rolls (1 case) - 350ms-500ms nonel caps 12'-16' leads180 each - 2"x16" packaged emulsion or watergel (cap sensitive)7000 lbs Specifications: - 50 grain det cord - Minimum of 48 grain/feet detonation cord: abrasion resistant and waterproofing - 18 grain det cord - Minimum of 18 grain/feet detonation cord: abrasion resistant and waterproofing - Nonel Lead in Line - Non-electric lead line - 350ms-500ms nonel caps - Non-electric single delay detonators with nominal delay between 350 milliseconds and 500 milliseconds. Minimum cap strength of detonator = #8 cap. 12 foot-16 foot lead lengths. - Packaged Emulsion - 2" x 16" cap sensitive packaged emulsion explosive Required Action If you are interested, please send an email to the POC.
