- Asbuilts 2 Asbuilts 1 Specifications RFI Turf This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute a RFQ/RFP. The Government does not intend to award a purchase order or contract based only on responses to this RFI. Responses to this RFI are not quotes on which the Government can issue any purchase orders. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion. Any information submitted by respondents is voluntary. This sources sought notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice. Respondents will not be individually notified of the results of any government assessments. The intent of this sources sought is to determine whether companies can install turf with the existing draingage system at Hurlburt Field, FL. The existing turf and drainage system were installed 8 years ago and have experienced excessive/higher than average use. The turf is worn and the Government is interested in replacing it. Attached is the specifications document from the original contract, along with the as built drawings for the existing drainage system. The Government is looking for inputs from industry to determine if there are turf products that can be provided with the existing drainage system and can the product be warranted. All interested firms shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates product/company capabilities-indicating previous efforts for similar work. Firms shall also address those items identified below to provide the Government with sufficient information to determine if an RFQ can be issued and if so, how it will be issued. •(1) Price. Based on reviewing the information provided within this RFI, request a price estimate or range in pricing. This price estimate is to give the Government an idea of the funding that would be necessary in order to contract for this requirement. •(2) Is there any additional information that would be needed in any potential RFQ to provide a firm fixed price to complete the work described. •(3) Product specifications, literature, brochures to show the product meets the specifications provided in the attached Specifications document. •(4) A brief statement/explanation as if the product is compatible with the existing drainage system shown in the attached As Built Drawings. •(5) A brief statement/explanation on warranty terms and exceptions. •(6) The Government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business status (i.e. 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, or small business).
