- Description
- The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), a bureau of the Department of the Treasury, intends to issue a sole source contract utilizing FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedure for Certain Commercial Items, to Bloomberg Finance L.P., 731 Lexington Ave., New York, NY 10022-1331, for Bloomberg Anywhere and Bloomberg Terminals. This is a proprietary stand-alone system that provides the OCC will real-time news, data, analysis, and multimedia services on a single easy-to-use platform. The contract will represent a renewal of the OCC's existing licenses for Bloomberg Anywhere and Bloomberg Terminals. This renewal will include an updated number of licenses for Bloomberg Anywhere to thirteen (13) and Bloomberg Terminals to eight (8) for a total of twenty-one (21) licenses. The initial period of performance for this requirement is October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2019, with four one-year option periods. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quote; a solicitation document will not be issued. All information received by 2:30pm Eastern on Thursday, April 12, 2018 with pricing and sufficient technical documentation to establish a bona fide capability to meet the requirement will be considered by the OCC. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the OCC. Information received will be considered primarily for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
