- The Naval surface Warfare Center - Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) is hereby conducting a market survey of all potential sources for design, fabrication, test, and delivery of Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) Command, Control, Computers, Communications, and Navigation (C4N) Sensor Interface Units (SIU). Each delivered craft is equipped with four (4) SIUs designed according to specification LCAC-C4N-SPC-322, Rev 1.0. The items will be built in accordance with Government specifications and the specification can only be made available to U.S. DoD contractors (distribution limited) upon request to kayla.m.nelson@navy.mil. Your cage code and DUNS number will be required for this request. This market survey in no way binds the Government to offer contracts to responding companies. Responses to this RFI should include support materials that provides a demonstration of your company's capabilities, experience, and overall understanding of the evaluation criteria that NSWC PCD has identified. The following information is requested. Quality certifications for fabricating shipboard electronics systems Past performance in fabricating similar electronic items with POC's Describe facilities, tooling, and test equipment available to fabricate and test the items NSWC PCD requests your responses by 04:00 pm (CDT), on 12 April 2018. Submissions will be accepted after this date, but feedback may not be as timely or contribute to NSWC PCD strategic planning. Information should be e-mailed to kayla.m.nelson@navy.mil and labeled with the RFI number and title. Questions can be submitted electronically to kayla.m.nelson@navy.mil. Information provided will be treated as Business Sensitive and will not be shared outside of Government activities and agencies without the permission of the provider. All information shall be provided free of charge to the Government. NSWC PCD may request further information regarding the capabilities of respondents to meet the requirements and may request a presentation and/or a site visit as deemed necessary. At no cost to the government, responding vendors may continue technical dialogue with this market survey's Point of Contact after the initial response is provided. This is a Request For Information announcement, a market survey for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. NAICS Code 335999 applies. FSC is 5998. Vendors will not be reimbursed for responses to this RFI announcement.
