- Amendment 0002 SUBJECT: Request for Proposal (RFP) - Solicitation No. NRC-HQ-50-18-R-0003, Amendment No. 0002 The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is re-soliciting for project entitled, “Old Boral Performance in Spent Fuel Storage and Transportation” to perform the work described in the revised Section C Statement of Work (SOW) of the enclosed RFP. If your company is interested in submitting a proposal, please notify me in writing no later than April 11, 2018 by 11:00am EST. However, if your company is planning to submit a revised proposal please respond NLT April 13th, 2018 by 11:00 am (EST). Your proposal must be sent via e-mail to Erika.Eam@nrc.gov by the time and date established for submission. NRC is not responsible for technical difficulties and/or administrative problems associated with transmission of the files to the NRC. Please ensure that your proposal contains both a technical proposal and a cost proposal. The proposal shall be signed by an official authorized to bind the organization you represent, and it shall contain a statement indicating the period of time the proposal is in effect (no less than 60 days). CAUTION: It is brought to your attention that the Contracting Officer is the only individual who can legally commit the Government to the expenditure of public funds in connection with this proposed procurement. Accordingly, work on this proposed effort shall not commence without prior Contracting Officer authorization.
