DO NOT SEND QUOTES AT THIS TIME SCOPE OF WORK AND GENERAL SPECIFICATIONSFOR Behavioral Health Beds 632-18-2-3086-0123 Background As the population of our Veterans is aging the medical center is looking at a different approach to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our mental health patients. The population on acute psych units is aging and the medical center requires behavioral health beds to accommodate patient needs. This will not only provide safety for the patients but also for the staff who is trying to care for patients on acute psych units. Project Scope Northport VAMC is looking to procure a total of 5 Behavioral Health Beds. These beds will allow Northport VAMC to continue to keep acute Psych patients on the Mental Health Units for patients that require a bed with medical options. There will be a total of 5 Behavioral Health Beds purchased. The beds will include lock/unlock status indicator, custom removable cord, high low option, and non-removable parts. Specifications will be provided below in Section #4, Specifications.
