- Page 1 of 1 DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for AC-4E AHU replacement as required by drawings and specifications. Project No./Title: 573-15-807/Replace OR Air Handling Unit and Exhaust Fan Work Location: Malcolm Randall VAMC, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Estimated Target Completion Period: 540 calendars days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) Magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000.00. NAICS 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Constructions. Size Standard is $36.5 Million. Product Service Code Z2DA This is a design-build project/solicitation that will use FAR Part 36.3 Two -Phase Design Build Selection Procedures, providing the best value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 15, 2018. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web-site at www.fbo.gov At the time of proposal submission, contractors must have current registration/certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.SAM.GOV and VetBiz at www.vip.vetbiz.gov. Proposals of contractors not registered/certified in both databases will not be considered for award. Green Environmental Management System (GEMS) - Contractors selected for award of this contract are expected to be good stewards of the environment by complying with federal, state and local environmental laws and other requirements such as medical center policy and project specifications.
