Description

The South Texas VA Health Care System (STXVAHCS) is seeking Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) or Small Business (SB) sources capable of meeting the requirement listed below. The acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. NOTE: TO QUALIFY SDVOSB AND VOSB VENDORS MUST BE CERTIFIED IN THE VA VENDOR INFORMATION PAGES (VIP) DATABASE. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339113. Any SDVOSB, VOSB or SB firms who wish to identify their interests and capability to provide this service must notify the Contract Specialist no later than NOON PM Central Time, April 16, 2018. Notification shall be e-mailed to Lula Hill, at lula.hill3@va.gov. Provide Cage Code and or DUNS number. SCOPE: Centrifuge SOW Description 4-liter capacity (4 x 1000 mL), Simplified routine operating interface, Mid-performance drive, optional rotors, max speed/RCF 4,200 rpm. 4,122 x g, Swinging bucket rotor, TX-1000 buckets, Click Seal biocontainment lids, Adapters 196 x 5/7 mL Blood Collection, Adapters 148 x 10 mL Blood Collection, 196 x 5/7 mL or 148 x 10 mL (14 x 110 mm or 17 x 110 mm). Buckets and inserts will vary with the specified use of the centrifuge. Specifications: Capacity 30 x 2mL Electrical Requirements 120V 60Hz Display LCD Max. RCF 30,130 x G Max. Speed 17,500rpm Information Systems Officer, Information Protection:      The contractor will not have access to VA Desktop computers nor will they have access to online resources belonging to the government while conducting services. If removal of equipment from the VA is required, any memory storage devices, such as hard drives, solid state drives and non-volatile memory units will remain in VA control and will not be removed from VA custody.   Privacy Officer:   The contractor will not have access to Patient Health Information (PHI) nor will they have the capability of accessing patient information during the services provided to the VA. Records Manager:   There will be no federal records created, maintained, used or dispositioned with this contract; regardless of format [paper, electronic, etc.] or mode of transmission [e-mail, fax, etc.].
