Description
This amendment contains the following changes: 1)The following equipment has been removed from Section D.2.1.1.4 NON-CONSUMABLE/CONSUMABLE MEDICAL SUPPLIES: Removed "Sharps Container" from BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) LINE PROVIDER EQUIPMENT LIST (EMTF) Removed "Fire Extinguisher" from all levels of care equipment lists as fire extinguishers are required and addressed through Section D.2.1.1.5 CONTRACTOR PROVIDED VEHICLE Removed "Transcutaneous Cardiac Pacemaker" from ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT(ALS) LINE PROVIDER EQUIPMENT LIST (EMPF) 2)The following Language has been added to Section D.2.1.1.4 NON-CONSUMABLE/CONSUMABLE MEDICAL SUPPLIES: In regards to the BLS and ILS Line Provider Equipment List AED requirement and the ALS Line Provider Equipment List Monitor/Defibrillator-Manual requirement, a statement has been added to clarify the inventory requirements of those specific pieces of equipment. The statement is as follows: **Equipment is not required for each line provider to have with them in their possession on the line, but each EMS agency must have the equipment at the incident and available per IDAPA 16.01.03 500.01 which states, "Each EMS agency must maintain sufficient quantities of medical care supplies and devices specified in the minimum equipment standards to ensure availability for each response.". 3)Answers to Questions Received: (This list includes questions and answers from the April 10th, 2018 1800-1900 preproposal teleconference) QUESTION: Can individual EMTFs/AEMFs/EMPFs that are rostered on the Montana Only Line EMTF/AEMF/EMPF agreement also be rostered on the Idaho Only EMTF/AEMF/EMPF agreement? ANSWER: Yes, if the individual EMTF/AEMF/EMPF is licensed in both the State of Montana and the State of Idaho (or has Idaho approved preseason limited recognition), and meets all the solicitation requirements for both agreements, that EMTF/AEMF/EMPF can be rostered on both agreements.
