- Page 1 of 1 PRESOLICITATION NOTICE This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation for a construction project Project 610-15-105 Upgrade Primary Loop: It is the intention of VA Northern Indiana Health Care System to solicit bids for removal/replacement/disposal of the following: Remove 10 site electrical transformers, replace nine (9) new site electrical transformers. Remove one (1) electrical loop switch and replace with new. Remove and replace one (1) existing service disconnect. Remove the existing 620Kw diesel generator and replace with a new 600 Kw diesel generator. Remove and replace 15 existing non-adjustable breakers with new electronic trip breakers w/ adjustable settings. Remove and replace one (1) surge protective device with new. All items being removed are to be disposed of by the contractor. All above work to be done in accordance with contract drawings and specifications. This project will be procured as 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a standard size of $15M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Contract awardee shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, training, materials, supplies, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications & drawings provided. The VA will issue a IFB on or about April 26, 2018 via FEDBIZOPPS.gov. A site visit will be scheduled prior to the closing of solicitation, the date, time and location will be posted in the solicitation.
