- The purpose of this amendment is to reschedule the site visit and extend the response due date to the RFI as noted below. Request for Information River Aeration System Services for Provo River Delta Restoration Project The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) is requesting information from interested parties on river aeration system services for the Provo River Delta Restoration Project (PRDRP). Reclamation is interested in obtaining vendor feedback on the attached draft Statement of Objectives (SOO), information about vendor technical capabilities and service offerings, and rough order of magnitude cost estimates which will be used by Reclamation as market research in preparation for Reclamation soliciting a Request for Proposal (RFP). A site visit is available and will be held on May 8, 2018 at 9:00 AM. Vendors will meet at the Lakeshore Bridge Trailhead, 488 Lakeshore Drive, Provo, UT. Vendors are not required to attend the site visit; however, any vendors who are interested in the project are encouraged to attend the site visit. An additional site visit may be held when the RFP is released. Participants planning to attend the site visit must send the company name, and name of attendees, in writing, at least one week (7 days) before the date of the site visit to: Brandi Clark E-mail: brandiclark@usbr.gov Reclamation requests vendors interested in this project respond to this request for information (RFI) by providing the following: 1.Company name, address, and contact information. 2.Business size classification (Small, Small Disadvantaged (SDB), 8(a), Woman-owned (WOSB), Veteran Owned (VOSB), Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SD-VOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) businesses, and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU)/Minority Institutions (MI) including the number of employees and the number of years in business. 3.A brief capability statement of 10 pages or less indicating the ability to perform the required tasks identified in the attached draft SOO, Section 4.0 SCOPE, items 1-3. Information on whether your company also has capability to provide the optional tasks listed in Section 4.0 SCOPE, items 4-8 may also be included in the statement. Any services that would be provided by a subcontractor rather than in-house should be indicated. 4.A brief experience statement of 10 pages or less demonstrating experience with aeration projects of similar scope and magnitude. 5.Feedback and questions about any aspects of the draft SOO that you find unclear or confusing, or on aspects of the project for which additional details would be helpful for preparing a response to a possible future RFP. 6.A summary of which, if any, of the optional tasks (Section 4.0 SCOPE, items 4-8) your firm would be interested in providing, and any unique contract conditions desired, particularly as relates to the anticipated delay between system design and installation (see Section 6.0 CONSTRAINTS, item 2). 7.A rough order of magnitude cost estimate for providing the scope of services described, including identification of major cost drivers impacting the estimate. No RFP or solicitation currently exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in fbo.gov. It is the potential offerors' responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. This RFI is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for proprietary information not properly identified. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations.
