Description
The Department of Justice (DOJ) Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a requirement for a Domestic Training Coordinator for the FBI, Critical Incident Response Group, which also includes courses taught at the National Academy. The Training Coordinator must be an FBI Certified Negotiator, i.e. they must have received Crisis Negotiation training through the National Crisis Negotiation Course, have experience conducting critical incident negotiations internationally and domestically, and be competent in the following areas: Conducting corresponding research and curriculum development to enable the effective delivery of courses domestically; provide operational support at the FBI Academy, Quantico, VA; conduct research and create related presentation and instructional materials from research results and case studies; respond to requests for information from FBI Field Offices; support FBI exercises in the roles of exercise planner, role player, evaluator, controller, and the preparation of after action reports. The response to the RFI shall demonstrate subject matter expertise in the following areas, but not limited to: Principles of Negotiation, Active Listening Skills, Crisis Negotiation Equipment, Crisis Intervention, Incident Assessment, and related topics such as Kidnap Negotiations and other DOJ related crisis negotiation and intervention topics. Place of Performance: Quantico, VA. Submissions shall be no more than 5 pages in length to include cover page.
