- Description
- On 12 April 2018, this office will issue Request for Proposals for the services of a Fuel Transfer line Pigging Project, Tampa, FL. The solicitation will close on or about 30 April 2018. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED AND OPEN TO BOTH LARGE AND SMALL BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. Project Description: The pigging process must be phased such that mission disruption is avoided entirely. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to work with on-site personnel to coordinate the pigging efforts and the base's fueling needs. Existing transfer line extends from Bulk Fuels storage area to the Hydrant System located at the airfield. The transfer line is both 10 inch and 8 inch carbon steel constructed in 1953 which converts to an 8 inch carbon steel line constructed in 2013 at valve pit IVP-1 N 424032.95 E 1024434.14. These lines run between the Fuels Terminal Pump Shelter and the Type III Pump Shelter. The project includes a geometry survey, temporary spill containment, and the marking pipeline anomalies Bidders (Offerors): Please be advised of on-line registration requirement for Contractor Registration and for Representations and Certifications Application is now located in System for Award Management ‘SAM' database https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The representations and certifications section in SAM are required to be updated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete. The electronic annual representations and certifications are effective until one year from date of submission or update to SAM. Obtaining Solicitation Documents: Solicitation documents will be posted to the web via Federal Business Opportunities (https://www.fbo.gov/). Registering is required to access solicitation documents. Federal Business Opportunities provides secure access to acquisition-related information, synopsis or pre-solicitation notices and amendments. Summary of access requirements to solicitations is as follows: 1. Once you have located your project, click on link to solicitation to view the project. Files may be downloaded from the column on the right side reading ‘All Files' or from the ‘Packages' tab. 4. If you want other vendors, sub-contractors or contractors to contact you, click on the ‘Interested Vendors' tab and then ‘Add me to Interested Vendors' link at the bottom of the page. Questions and/or comments relative to the technical documents should be submitted via Bidder Inquiry in ProjNet at: https://www.projnet.org/projnet/.
