- Description
- *DESCRIPTION The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA intends to procure on a full and open competition basis an L-Band Transmitter, 1 each. The following is a list of the minimum system requirements for the purchase of a high duty cycle pulsed amplifier needed to provide surrogate radar signals to various collection platforms. The system will be mounted on the back of a moving vehicle and will need to ruggedize to MIL-STD-810F. To meet future requirements, the amplifier will need the capability to provide power independently without the needs of any add on equipment connected to the amplifier. Environmental: •Forced air cooling •Thermal protection •Operating temperature 0° to 50°C •Relative Humidity 5% to 95% non- condensing Physical: •19" rack mountable •Ethernet remote operation capability •Forward and reverse operation capability •RF Connectors type N female except output is SC female Electrical Specifications: •Frequency Range •1000 MHz to 2000 MHz •Power- 70DBm (10,000 Watts) •Maintenance Shocks: According to Proc. VI. •Drops: According to Proc. IV - In case the weight shall exceed 45.4 kg, the height shall be 76 cm, otherwise the height shall be 122 cm. •Max Pulse Width - 650µs •Minimum Pulse Width - 4µs •Duty Cycle - 15% Specifications that require testing data from contractor concurrent with item delivery: •Shock Protection- The shock protection tests shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-810F, Method 516.5: Shocks: Proc. I, 11msec, 18 sawtooth pulses with peak value of 20 g. •Vibration Protection- The vibration protection test shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-810F, Method 514.5, Cat. 20, fig. 514.5C-1 tailored for installation within off-road wheeled vehicle. Test duration is 3 hours per axis. •Loose Cargo Transportation- The Loose Cargo Transportation test shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-810F, Method 514.5, Cat. 5. Test duration is 3 hours. The contractor shall be responsible for delivery of compliant items to NAWCWD China Lake. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency.
