Description
NC3 Concepts and Challenges WS2. Mark your Calendars and don't miss this engagement opportunity with Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) in August 2018! AFGSC seeks senior-level technical participants from industry and the academic research organizations. Industry includes both large and small businesses. The academic community includes all government sponsored and private institutes of higher learning. The 2018 NC3 Concept and Challenges Workshop #2 is the follow-up event from the first workshop in March 2018. During the first workshop, the Government NC3 community presented industry, the academic community, trusted partners (FFRDCs and UARCs) and other Air Force and DoD partners an overview of the current NC3 system-of-systems and its current challenges. Additionally, the Government proposed a potential vision and roadmap of how to evolve the NC3 system-of-systems over the next two decades. For the August workshop, AFGSC seeks innovative architectures, concepts, and technologies to improve the Air Force's NC3 mission performance, whether through additional or improved capabilities and/or reduced resource requirements. Your organization will be provided the opportunity to present concepts and solutions to AFGSC and other Air Force and DoD partners for consideration. The results of this workshop will help shape the Air Force NC3 roadmap and investment strategy.
