SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting market research on behalf of Salisbury Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Salisbury NC, through this sources sought to help determine the availability of qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), and Small Businesses who can provide the item(s) listed below. Due to the urgency, this notice will end Monday, 4-16-18 @4pm. Lab Air Filtration System (no hood) 1EA Activated Carbon Pre-Filter Pads 4 PG Carbon Filter - 22 lb. Heavy-Duty Activated Carbon Filter 4 PG 6" Dia. Black Fire Retardant Flex Hose (Extends approximately to 72"L) w/10.5 Dia. Round Capture Hood and hose clamp 3EA Wall Mount Kit 1EA 24-Month Extended Warranty 1EA We need a system that is wall mounted with extendible arms/hoses so that the air suction can be placed at the source of the fumes. Needs to be designed to handle the fumes generated by hazardous materials (vinyls, acrylics, fiberglass resin, adhesives). Lab Air Filtration System MUST have the following salient characteristics: No Hood Air Cleaner w/Variable Speed Controller Dual Inlet Plenum Black Fire Retardant Flex Hoses: (2) - 48"L x 5" Dia. Flex Arms each with a round capture hood (approx.) Swivel assembly for both flex hoses allowing for 360 degree movement Internal support assembly for flex hoses Portability Handle Heavy-Duty Locking Casters Air Volume up to350 CFM per arm Cabinet Dimensions: 22.5" D x 20" W x 19.5" H (approx.) Weight: 80lbs (approx.) Electrical: 115V/Approx. 2.5 Amps 24 Month Warranty All interested parties should respond, in writing via email to melisha.evans@va.gov. The NAICS 333413 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of 500 employees. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a) Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at the System for Award Management (SAM) as a part of required registration in conjunction with FAR 4.1102(a) that states, Prospective contractors shall be registered in the (SAM) database prior to award of a contract or agreement. Therefore, vendors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award.
