Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT USING OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION Department of Veteran Affairs The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to award a superseding lease using other than full and open competition for an existing lease for the Hampton Veteran Affairs Medical Center. The Chesapeake Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) currently located at 1987 S. Military Hwy., Chesapeake, VA 23462. Requirement State: VA City: Chesapeake Delineated Area: North: Intersection of I-664 and Route 135 (College Drive).and the intersection of Route 60 (Shore Drive) and Route 279(N. Great Neck Road). South: Intersection of Mount Pleasant Road and Route 460 and intersection of Princess Anne Road and Nimmo Parkway East: Intersection of I-264 and Route 615 (First Colonial Road) and intersection of Route 60 (Shore Drive) and Route 279 (N. Great Neck Road). West: Intersection of Route 17 and I-664 and intersection of I-664 and Route 460 Minimum NUSF: 20,000 Maximum NUSF: 20,000 Space Type Clinical: All services, supplies, utilities and tenant improvement to be provided as part of the rental consideration, Occupancy, the space is required on or before September 1, 2018. Lease term will be for 10 years; 5 years firm fixed price with five (5) 1-year soft terms. The Department of Veteran Affairs is interested in, considering alternative space if economically advantageous; otherwise the Department of Veteran Affairs intends to pursue a sole source lease acquisition with the current lessor. The Department of Veteran Affairs will consider the cost of moving, tenant improvement, etc., when deciding whether the Chesapeake CBOC should relocate.
