- The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, Contracting Division, intends to negotiate a Fixed Price contract to procure these items to be shipped to the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia 23709. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333415 (Air-conditioning and warm air heating equipment and commercial and industrial) and the procurement will be a brand name or equal requirement. Award will be made on the basis of lowest-price, technically acceptable (LPTA). The contract line items are as follows: CLIN 0001: Dehumidifier Unit, P/N HCD-1125, QTY 1 CLIN 0002: Dehumidifier Unit, P/N HCD-1125, QTY 1 Salient Characteristics: The dehumidifier unit shall be arranged to provide continuous dehumidification with constant outlet temperature and humidity for a given inlet condition. The unit shall be a compartment type using desiccant wheel media with process 1100 scfm and regenerative sections. The dehumidifier shall have minimum of 1100 CFM process air capacity. Reactivation air capacity shall have a minimum of 300 CFM. Both process air fan and reactivation air fan shall have a minimum of external static pressure of 7.5" of W.G. and 4.0" of W.G. respectively. Dehumidifier shall be capable of removing 30 lbs/hr of moisture with inlet air condition of 75 degree F dry bulb temperature with 0.09 grains of moisture per pound of dry air. All air entering the dehumidifier must be filtered. Unless otherwise specified, filters shall be cleanable with minimum 30% efficiency and of a size and capacity as recommended for air volumes shown. Dampers shall be factory installed at the outlets of both process and reactivation air fans. Electrical characteristics of all dehumidifiers shall operate on 440 volts, 3 phase, 60 hertz, and all wiring per NEC codes. The solicitation number will be SPMYM1-18-Q-0071. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither it nor its principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency.
