- DESCRIPTION: U. S. Coast Guard Industry Day WHEN: Wednesday, May 2, 2017 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (Arrival on base begins at 7:30 a.m.) WHERE: Telecommunication and Information Systems Command (TISCOM) Drill Facility Building 7323 Telegraph Road, Alexandria, VA 22315 The U.S. Coast Guard will be hosting an Industry Day Event in support of the following USCG HQ Directorates: Human Resources (CG-1), Assistant Commandant for Marine Safety Security and Stewardship (CG-5), Force Readiness Command (FORCECOM), Assistant Commandant for Command, control, Communications, Computers & Information Technology (CG-6), Assistant Commandant for Capability (CG-7), Planning Resources and Procurement (CG-8) and Assistant Commandant for Acquisition (CG-9). The USCG HQ Industry Day Event is designed to promote meaningful exchange for greater understanding of Coast Guard needs, and expanded awareness of industry capabilities. The event will include CG-912 Procurement Team updates of anticipated requirements for the upcoming year, followed by respective break-out sessions for one-on-one discussions including Q&A's reference specific Acquisition Planning Forecast System (www.apfs.dhs.gov) opportunities. (FORECAST DISCLAIMER - All projected procurements are subject to revision or cancellation. Final decisions on the extent of competition, small business participation, estimated value, or any aspect of the procurement action will not be made until each procurement is initiated. Forecast data is for planning purposes only and is not a commitment by the government to purchase the described products and services.) WHO SHOULD ATTEND? • Federal contractors (large and small) interested in Coast Guard business opportunities. There is a limit of 2 attendees per company. • Representatives from Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 8(a), HUB-Zone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Women-Owned Small Businesses, Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Businesses and Large Businesses. REGISTRATION: • Each individual must pre-register to attend this event. Please register at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2018-us-coast-guard-industry-day-tickets-45138324945?ref=estw. Please provide full name, official title, company name, phone number, email address, size of business, and whether or not vehicle parking is required. • There is no cost to attend this event; however, space is limited by to the first 350 registrants. • Registration will be closed at noon on Wednesday, April 25, or when the attendance limit is reached. Please note: To enter the base, each attendee must be on the registration list and present a valid government-issued photo identification. Visitor parking is limited at TISCOM; car pooling is encouraged. To drive on base, drivers without a valid government vehicle decal must possess: (1) valid insurance card, (2) drivers license, and (3) vehicle registration. There is no Metro station within walking distance.
