- This is a brand name only requirement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c). Only Motorola manufactured products will be considered. USMS is requesting quotes for the purchase of software upgrades to existing Motorola XTS 2500 radios. The firmware upgrades sought are proprietary to Motorola as they are the manufacturer of the radio, and are the sole provider of the needed software upgrades that can be used to update the firmware of the radios. Specifically, the USMS requires the following: •· - Motorola part number T6993, Radio Flash Dongle, quantity of four (4) •· - Motorola part number Q811AB, ENH: Software P25 Conventional Refresh, quantity of 1,900. The price quote shall include all delivery costs, if applicable. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document can be seen below. • 1) 52.247-34, FOB Destination •2 2) 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial •3 3) 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items. The following text is added to Paragraph (a) of FAR 52.212-2: (Low Price Technically Acceptable). An award will be made to the lowest priced bidder who can provide the requested Motorola products. Note : The Contractor shall deliver all items FOB Destination to the address identified. All quotes are due on April 19, 2018 at 5:00pm (EDT) and must be submitted to Justin Young at Justin.Young@usdoj.gov. No information or questions requesting clarification from prospective offerors will be provided over the telephone. All quotes shall be submitted on Company Letterhead and include your firm's proposed pricing, point of contact, Cage Code, Tax ID Number, and DUNS Number. Late and/or incomplete quotations will not be considered for award.
