- Description
- The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Acquisitions Management Services (AMS), Program Support Center(PSC) intends to negotiate a sole source award to Magellan Behavioral Health, Inc. for Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to support Federal Occupational Health (FOH). FOH provides 24/7 national EAP services to Federal Customer agencies through interagency agreements (IAAs). It is essential that these services are uninterrupted with no break in service or delays. This acquisition is for the modification of the existing contract. The contract ceiling amount will be increased by $15 million. The period of performance will be extended by twelve(12) months including a four(4)month period and four two(2) month option periods. This award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive orders. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement within ten(10) calendar days after the publication which shall be considered by the agency. Responses received after the response date or without the required information may not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete as a result of information received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The projected award date is May 1,2018.
