PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE HEPATITIS TESTING ON A COST PER REPORTABLE RESULT (CPRR) BASIS VA PITTSBURGH, PA This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, quotation abstracts, or quotations. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation or commitment by the Government, nor is it a Request for Quotations (RFQ) at this time. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO4), Pittsburgh, PA intends to solicit quotes from contactors to provide automated Clinical Laboratory Immunoassay Instrumentation on a Cost Per Reportable Result (CPRR) basis to the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. The procurement shall be conducted under FAR Part 13 procedures and the requirement is for a base period and four (4) one (1) year options. The solicitation package is anticipated to be released next week and is to be conducted utilizing full and open competition; it is not set-aside procurement. The NAICS code is 334516 Medical Analyzers and the size standard is 1000 employees. See the attached Statement of Work for detailed information. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the proposal submission process. Prospective Offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the FBO website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Firms may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in SAM. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website and register as soon as possible to avoid delays so that they may be considered for a contract award. After review of the responses received, the Government may issue a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published in Federal Business Opportunities. No proprietary, sensitive, confidential or classified information shall be included with your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation.
