- Scope of effort: This effort is restricted to RACOM Corporation, Marshalltown, IA Cage: 054P4. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited, however all responsible sources may submit a quotation with a proposal which will be considered by the Army Contracting Command - Rock Island. This notice is published for subcontracting purposes only. The Rock Island Arsenal Fire Dept. and Police Dept. have a requirement for EDACS radio maintenance. The radio system is used by the dispatch center to communicate with the Force Protection Police Department, the Fire Department, and the paramedics/EMTs. This radio system is required to be maintained in order to meet mission needs and ensure safety of the officers, firefighters, civilians, tenants, and all organizations on the Island. This will be a base plus 4 option year contract. The period of performance will be September 2018-August 2023. The Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition will be made publicly available within 14 days after award in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.305(a).
