- Final copy of Chase Solicitation The final solicitation has been uploaded. Only change was Clin 4001 decription was changed to Option Year 4 UAV Observation. Due date and time for porposal has been extended to 23 April 2018 by 1pm PST. Please note this does not extend the start date. Services must begin on 1 May 2018. RFI Answer: If and when we eventually go to 3-5 lines per day, we can only fly one MQ-9in NAS at a time. Once the first MQ-9 enters the range, the next MQ-9 willbe engine running at March ARB, ready to take-off. This will require atLEAST the second chase aircraft airborne and waiting. Once that second MQ-9enters the range the first chase aircraft should be back at March to pick upthe 3rd MQ-9 and so on. AT MINIMUM we should have the 2 chase aircraft airborne and the 3rd chaseaircraft as a spare. Keep in mind, we may not be flying 3-5 sorties everysingle day, so there will be days where the chase aircraft are not all flying, but we need to plan for that.
