- THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR AN INVITATION FOR BID. This is a competitive 100% Small Business set aside procurement utilizing FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding. This project is to provide planning, labor, transportation, equipment, supplies, materials, management and supervision required to replace the roof and sky lights at Building 280 at Naval Base San Diego, California. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 238160 “ Roofing Contractors with a corresponding small business size standard of $15 million. The FAR 36.204 construction cost magnitude of this project is $500,000 to $1,000,000. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLY IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT. The solicitation will be posted to the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website at https://www.neco.navy.mil on or around May 1, 2018. IT IS THE CONTRACTOR ™S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEBSITES DAILY FOR ANY AND ALL AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. Prospective bidders MUST register themselves on the aforementioned websites. Plan holders lists will not be faxed and will be available only at the NECO internet website address listed above. Receipt of bids and subsequent public bid opening will be on or about June 7, 2018. The sole site visit for this procurement will be listed in the solicitation when released with instructions to bidders who wish to attend the site visit.
