Notice of Intent to Sole Source NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NSWC IHEODTD), intends to award a firm fixed price sole source procurement with L-3 Applied Technologies, 2700 Merced Street San Leandro, CA 94577 to provide: CLIN 0001- Qty 1 Part# 43130 Make/Break Trigger Box - 6-Channel CLIN 0002- Qty 1 Part# 120-111441 150KV Tube Head Cable Assembly - 20' CLIN 0003- Qty 80 Part# 43731A-#034 Additional Length Tubehead Cable: per ft. or 0.3 M, maximum cable length 100 ft. (30 M) - Combined with Item #2 above to make one (1), 100ft Tubehead Cable Assembly. CLIN 0004- Qty 1 Part# 120-111348 Control Cable - Console to Pulser 150KV - 20' CLIN 0005- Qty 180 Part#43731A-#020 Additional Length Control Cable (control cabinet to pulser): per ft. or 0.3M - Combined with Item #4 above to make one (1), 200ft Control Cable Assembly. CLIN 0006- Qty 1 FREIGHT ESTIMATED FREIGHT - FCA ORIGIN. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334517, Irradiation Apparatus Manufacturing, which has an annual size standard of 1,000 employees. Interested vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The circumstances permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements." The intent of this synopsis is to determine if any sources exist, and therefore, no Request for Quote (RFQ) is available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all information received by April 30, 2018 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon the responses received from this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
