- PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE: REQUIREMENT The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region, Western Colorado Area Office, has a requirement for the following: a.Exterior painting of 3 buildings (office, lab/storage, and garage) which includes approximately 4,786 square feet of paint coverage for siding and soffits, plus 1,516 linear feet of trim of 4-inch typical width. Additionally, one shed requires lead remediation using removal or encapsulation, and one coat of primer on all exterior wooden surfaces. Reference photos are provided at the end of this statement of work. b.The existing exterior paint on all buildings in this statement of work contains at least one layer of lead based paint. Appropriate, EPA approved procedures shall be followed to contain, encapsulate, or abate the lead based paint hazard before the buildings are repainted. c.The structures that will be painted are subject to local and state historic preservation regulations. The contractor is required to document the structures of 5LP4580 (Vallecito Government Camp) to Colorado Office of Historic Preservation (OHP) Level I standards, and submit all required documentation to Reclamation. Reclamation will submit all finalized documentation to the State of Colorado State Historic Preservation Office (COSHPO). d.Project Location: Pine River Irrigation District (PRID) Office 13029 Co Road 501 Bayfield, CO 81122. COMPETITON: Solicitation No. 140R4018Q0047, Pine River Irrigation District Exterior Painting is anticipated to be a total small business Set-Aside. The requirement shall be procured in accordance with FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items; & 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. NAICS CODE AND SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS Code for this requirement is 562910, Remediation Services, with a small business size standard of $20.5M. SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The release date for Solicitation No. 140R4018Q0047 is anticipated to be April 24, 2018. Interested parties are encouraged to monitor this announcement for updates and the release of the solicitation documents. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be accessible from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, www.fbo.gov. It is, and will continue to be, all potential offerors responsibility to monitor the FBO website for any amendments, updates, responses to questions and answers, etc. as the Government will not be providing any other methods of information dissemination.
