- The National Park Service is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for the removal and replacement of approximately 5500 square feet (SF) of asphalt shingles, the installation of a ridge vent along the length of the house, the removal and replacement of damaged rafters and associated sheathing, the installation of drip edges around perimeter of roof, and the removal and reinstallation of gutters on maintenance building B055 near mile post 85.2 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The project site is located near the Blue Ridge Parkway at Milepost 85.2 in Bedford County, VA. The building address is 85919 Blue Ridge Parkway, Bedford, VA 24523. 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside The NAICS code is 238160 Roofing Contractors, Size Standards in Millions of dollars $15.0; and NAICS 238190 Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior Contractors, $15.0; and NAICS 238990 All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, $15.0. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation, please review the attachments posted. Required Services: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision required to complete this roof project. The government reserves the right to award none, any or all of the bid options in any order. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system. Award cannot be made until the contractor has registered. Interested offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered in SAM prior to submitting their quote.
