- Statement of Work Request for Quote THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This synopsis/solicitation EA-133C-18-RQ-0930 constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Service (NOS), National Marine Sanctuaries (NMS), Research Vessel (R/V) PETER GLADDING, R5701, has a requirement for shipyard work services in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. All work must be performed at the contractor's facility. The anticipated period of performance is from date of award through 12 months thereafter. The vessel is currently located at the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (FKNMS), Key West, FL. A pre-bid inspection may be scheduled upon request to the Point of Contact cited in the RFQ
