- Description
- The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service, is issuing a sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties with the necessary security clearance, expertise and resources who have an interest in providing Full Facilities Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance Services at multiple Federal facilities in the states of Maryland and Virginia, and the District of Columbia. The requirements contemplated encompass approximately 1.5 to 2 million aggregate square feet across multiple Federal facilities. Full maintenance services will include, but are not limited to: the operation, maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and life safety, vertical transportation, and architectural and structural systems and controls as located within these facilities. Additionally the parties should have core competencies in engineering, repairs and alterations, project management, management support, administrative services, recommissioning, alterations, and other ancillary services to provide complete and integrated management of the facilities over the long term. Interested parties should have experience in contracts for: 1. The management of a coordinated workforce across multiple facilities (ideally with two or more distinct buildings exceeding 400,000 aggregate square feet and ideally involving contracts with the Federal Government); 2. The management of specialized subcontractor services as relates to the maintenance and operation of complex facility systems and equipment, familiarity with applicable industry and building codes and standards; 3. The performance of similar services as stated above for greater than 1 year within the 5 years previous to this posting; 4. A current and active Facilities Security Clearance (FCL) level of at least "secret," include your company's name, address and cage code; and 5. At least two references for projects of similar service, complexity and security. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code to be assigned to this procurement is 561210 with an associated small business size standard of $38.5 million.
