- Updated 1449 SF-30 Request for Wire Rope & Line Physical Support Branch, Dredge Goetz, request the award of a contract for the purchase of wire rope and line for the Dredge Goetz's fleet. The Dredge Goetz fleet will be fleeting this winter at the Fountain City Service Base and continue the season in the spring. This contract is to supply wire rope and line for the Dredge Goetz and its supporting equipment. Scope of Work Purchase of the following for line: Quantity Coil Line Length (Feet) Size Minimum Break Force (Pounds) Specification 12 600' ea. 1.125 22,500 lbs 1 - 1/8" - 3 stranded Poly - Dacron rope. The individual spool lengths will be 600 foot. The minimum required breaking strength is 22,500 lbs. Purchase of the following for Wire Rope: Quantity Coil Line Length (Feet) Size (Dia.) Construction Class Minimum Break Force (Tons) Specification 6 600' 5/8" 6 x 19 20.6 The wire rope is used on sheaves, winches and hoists. Also on our Lorain Crane LRT 300D. All wire rope shall be tested and certified to meet and/or exceed the minimum specified breaking force. All wire rope finish shall be "bright" fully lubricated, right regular lay (RRL). The wire rope grade shall be extra improved plow steel (EIP). The core shall be Independent Wire Rope Core. (IWRC) 5 600' 3/4" 6 x 37 29.4 The wire rope is used on sheaves, winches and hoists. All wire rope shall be tested and certified to meet and/or exceed the minimum specified breaking force. All wire rope finish shall be "bright" fully lubricated, right regular lay (RRL). The wire rope grade shall be extra improved plow steel (EIP). The core shall be Independent Wire Rope Core. (IWRC) 5 600' 1" 6 x 37 29.4 The wire rope is used on sheaves, winches and hoists. All wire rope shall be tested and certified to meet and/or exceed the minimum specified breaking force. All wire rope finish shall be "bright" fully lubricated, right regular lay (RRL). The wire rope grade shall be extra improved plow steel (EIP). The core shall be Independent Wire Rope Core. (IWRC) 8 300' 7/8" 6 x 37 39.8 The wire rope is used on sheaves, winches and hoists. All wire rope shall be tested and certified to meet and/or exceed the minimum specified breaking force. All wire rope finish shall be "bright" fully lubricated, right regular lay (RRL). The wire rope grade shall be extra improved plow steel (EIP). The core shall be Independent Wire Rope Core. (IWRC) 1 1200' 1-1/4 6 x 37 79.9 The wire rope is used on sheaves, winches and hoists. All wire rope shall be tested and certified to meet and/or exceed the minimum specified breaking force. All wire rope finish shall be "bright" fully lubricated, right regular lay (RRL). The wire rope grade shall be extra improved plow steel (EIP). The core shall be Independent Wire Rope Core. (IWRC) To ensure compliance with the terms of contract clause 52.219-6 (Paragraph (d)) the contractor shall include with their quote the manufacturer(s) for the material they will deliver under this purchase order. Delivery Location Information: Documentation verifying the product being delivered meets or exceeds the listed breaking strength shall be provided at delivery for ALL items specified.
