- Description
- RFQ/SF-18 Performance Work Statement Materials Contract for Measurement Specialties Pressure transducers 1.0 Introduction The Propulsion Systems Evaluation Facility (PSEF) is in need of acquiring 16 Measurement Specialties PSI pressure transducers and associated interfacing cables (QTY of 8- 100 PSIG wet transducers, QTY of 8- 150 PSIG wet transducers, 17 interfacing cables at 30 feet, 4 interfacing cables at 50 feet, and 4 interfacing cables at 20 feet (interfaces from PSI transducer to its proprietary data system). The addition of these specialized pressure transducers will expand pressure measuring capability to meet the requirements of future tests. Measurement Specialties unique pressure transducers are needed to provide accurate measurements of pressures throughout the test area. Measurement Specialties PSI transducers are required because they are the current standard in acquiring pressure data. These components are capable of communicating between data system and components using their proprietary hardware and software. No other Data Acquisition system (DAQ) manufacturer fabricates Measurement Specialties pressure transducers and components. The Measurement Specialties PSI system will be used as one complete streamlined data acquisition system for pressures. This DAQ system provides facility health monitoring of the engine and associated components. This Health Monitoring Data System is another tool used by qualified engineers and technicians to verify proper operation of testing systems during test operations. This Data System will also be used for pretest, midtest, and posttest operational checks to ensure that the test article and other integral components of the test facility are always operating within manufacturer’s specifications. 2.0 Scope PSEF requires Measurement Specialties PSI pressure transducers to insure accurate operation and data collection of unique test engines and facilities. This system will provide a layer of safety for personnel and the facility. The manufacturer shall provide materials for a fixed fee and meet the technical requirements listed below. 3.0 Technical Requirements / Tasks The Measurement Specialties pressure transducers that are needed consists of the following hardware: Transducer and cables: 1. 9401-010001200000 – 100 PSIG, ¼’’ NPT Male, Viton, Bendix 8 pin Digital, wet transducer. QTY: 8 2. 9401-015001200000 – 150 PSIG, ¼’’ NPT Male, Viton, Bendix 8 pin Digital, Wet transducer, QTY: 8 3. 9096-0003010000 - 9400/9401/9402 to 9022, 30 feet Transducer cable QTY: 17 4. 9096-0005010000 – 9400/9401/9402 to 9022, 50 feet Transducer cable QTY:4 5. 9096-0002010000 – 9400/9401/9402 to 9022, 20 feet Transducer cable QTY:4
