- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to award contracts to various Contractors to conduct inspections in the following states; Washington, D.C, Nevada, South Carolina and Idaho. These contractors will assist in inspecting retail establishments that sell cigarettes and/or smokeless tobacco products and in surveillance of other entities that fall under the scope of the Tobacco Control Act and the provisions that will be cited in the request for proposal (RFP). All companies that anticipate submitting a proposal must be able to employee commissionable inspectors to conduct the inspections. To be considered commissionable the person must be employed by the state, territory, local, or tribal government in which the inspections are to be conducted. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with various contractors. to provide retail inspections. This notice is issued for informational purposes and is not a request for competitive proposals. This request was previously issued as a Sources Sought Notice FDA-CTP- SBSS-1192944 posted on January 22, 2018 and FDA-CTP-SBSS-1196876 posted on March 23, 2018. The solicitation will be available on or about May 9, 2018 on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities website for the release of the solicitation and amendments. **NO QUESTIONS WILL BE ENTERTAINED.
