- SPECIFICATIONS AIR CURTAIN DESTRUCTOR LAKE CUMBERLAND, KY The Contractor shall provide a self-contained above ground air curtain destructor (ACD) system. The ACD shall be skid-mounted and include a refractory walled firebox, diesel engine power plant, mechanical drive system, blower fan and fuel tank. The ACD shall be completely assembled and fully functional at the time of delivery. ACD shall have the following minimum characteristics: 1. Refractory Box (Firebox) a. Dimensions: i. Length: 26 feet - 28 feet ii. Width: 8 feet - 9 feet iii. Height: 8 feet - 9 feet b. Exterior Shell: Steel c. Lining: High Temperature Refractory Panel d. Minimum Refractory Panel Service Temperature: 2,900 degrees F e. Minimum Burn Temperature: 1,800 degrees F f. Floor: Double Steel Floor g. Two Full Height Read Doors 2. Engine a. Fuel Type: Diesel b. Type: Turbo Diesel c. HP: 80 (Minimum) d. Cooling: Liquid e. Fuel Capacity: 100 Gallon (Minimum) f. Full Enclosure Housing g. USEPA Tier 4 Compliant 3. Instrumentation Panel: a. Key Switch b. Throttle c. Tachometer d. Water Temperature e. Fuel Gauge f. Oil Pressure Gauge g. Hour Meter h. Safety Shutdown: Temperature and Oil Pressure i. Lockable Panel Door 4. Exterior Finish a. High Temperature Coating 5. Miscellaneous: a. Stationary Application b. Overall Dimensions: i. Length: 37 feet - 40 feet ii. Width: 10 feet - 12 feet iii. Height: 8 feet - 10 feet c. Lifting Rings d. USEPA 40CFR60 Compliance DOCUMENTION 1. Provide Operation & Maintenance (O & M) manuals and technical manual. 2. Provide Safety manual and any manufacturer safety DVD for the product. WARRANTY 1. The air curtain destructor and all appurtenances shall be covered by the standard commercial warranty or warranties offered to the general public in customary commercial practice. 2. The minimum warranty shall be for a period of one year from the date of delivery. SURVEY The Government is issuing this to determine a competitive basis.
