SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE DESCRIPTION This Notice is being posted as market research to determine if the procurement may be set aside for Veteran owned small businesses, or for small businesses. It is anticipated that a full solicitation shall be posted in the future. Further, this notice is seeking to locate any Gastroenterologists who might be available immediately. If an offeror has a qualified and currently available Gastroenterologist, please submit a CV along with your response to this Sources Sought Notice. There is an urgent need for Gastroenterologists and a sole source procurement shall be considered if a qualified Gastroenterologist is immediately available at a fair and reasonable price. The VA has a requirement to provide Gastroenterology / Endoscopy / Colonoscopy Services to the Mountain Home (James H. Quillen) VA Medical Center (VAMC). Services are to be provided on-site at the Mt. Home VAMC located in Mt. Home, TN. The Mt. Home VAMC needs up to 5 FTEE to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm while they recruit permanent staff, and to work on-call during all non-business hours seven days a week, including holidays. The solicitation shall include an option to increase the quantity. The period of performance shall be for a period of 1-year with one 1-year option period. Services may be reduced upon giving at least a 90-day notice if permanent staff are located and hired. All providers shall be licensed physicians who are experienced Gastroenterologists, and shall be required to provide all services outlined in the Performance Work Statement.
