- UF-137 SOW Draft UF-34 SOW Draft INFORMATION FOR POTENTIAL OFFERORS: The Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF), Bremerton, Washington intends to award a stand-alone Firm-Fixed-Price contract to accomplish maintenance, repair, and preservation of two (2) Utility Floats, UF-34 and UF-137. Utility Float-34 and Utility Float-137 have the following specifications: Utility Float (UF-34) Utility Float (UF-137) Length: 60 FT Length: 60 FT Draft: 1 FT 1 IN Draft: 1 FT 2 IN Width: 30 FT - 0 IN Width: 15 FT - 0 IN Height: 5 FT- 0 IN Height: 6 FT- 0 IN Light Load: 50.4 L Tons Light Load: 30.6 L Tons Hull Type: Steel Hull Type: Steel The contractor's facility must possess the capability of accommodating two (2) Utility Floats with the dimensions as stated above. Coordinate with the Contracting Officer, via the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to deliver the vessels to the Contractor's facility. Dock, wash, and clean the exterior surfaces of the vessels upon docking. Remove all fendering. Blast and preserve all exterior surfaces of the vessels. Replace zinc anodes. Hull and main deck require ultrasonic measurement of plating thickness. Open, clean, inspect and test tanks. Vessels require inspection for damage and deterioration (Hull, main deck, tanks and voids. Apply new nonskid system to main deck. Undock the vessel. Arrange and coordinate the delivery of the vessels (UF-34 and UF-137) back to the Government with the Contracting Officer via the COR. The contractor will arrange for and transport the vessels from the Government facility at Bremerton, WA to the Contractor's repair facility. Upon completion of all work coordinate delivery of the vessels to the Government facility at Bremerton, WA The expected Period of Performance is scheduled to be: 4 December 2018 to 7 February 2019. The Government is contemplating a 100% small business set-aside under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 336611, size 1,250 employees. The Government intends to post a request for proposals in June 2018 and anticipates award of the Firm-Fixed Price, stand-alone contract in August 2018 to the responsible contractor on a lowest price, technically acceptable basis in accordance with but not limited to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.101-2. Offerors can view and/or download the draft notional work specifications for review at https://www.fbo.gov. All offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) to receive award of Government contracts. Offerors are advised also that SAM representations and certifications can be completed electronically via the System for Award Management website at https://www.sam.gov. PSNS & IMF may request further information regarding the capabilities of respondents to meet the requirements set forth in the announcement.
