- This is a sources sought synopsis in support of a market survey being conducted by the 11th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Andrews, MD 20762 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10, Market Research, to determine interest and capabilities of potential sources to provide Environmental Waste/Water Samplers This synopsis is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, a synopsis of a solicitation, a commitment on the part of the Government to later publish a solicitation, or ultimately award a contract. The Government will not reimburse the costs of preparing or submitting a response to this synopsis. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors to provide: pH probes, equipment cabinets, sample bottles and accessories. Base requires delivery, field installation, training and standard factory warranty for samplers. Items shall include (but not be limited) to: (a) Waste water samplers - each system is powered via 115V service and shall contains controller with sensor ports, bottle tray, retainer, and distributor arm, 25' vinyl intake tubing, strainer, digital pH sensor, and adapter cable. (b) Equipment cabinets - shall be All Weather base/weather resistant and refrigerated; powered from 115v service. Bottle kit that includes 24-1L poly bottles w/caps. (c) Field service - Equipment standard warranty and Field Service will be performed by an approved contractor. The FS includes: delivery, and field setup as well as all parts, labor, and travel for on-site repairs, 1 on-site set up, familiarization training and initial calibrations, factory recommended maintenance (including required parts), and follow-on technical support calls. Warranty shall include On-site response for "down" instrument repairs when equipment is inoperable for over 3 business days. Standard business hours are 8am-4pm M-F local time, excluding holidays. Interested sources capable of providing this requirement must respond by e-mail to julia.a.johnson6.civ@mail.mil, referencing Waste/Water Samplers no later than 3 May 2018, at 8:00AM EST. Interested sources shall indicate whether they are capable of providing the subject requirement, how long after issuance of a purchase order would it take to complete the requirement, and furthermore indicate their size and status (i.e., small business, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB, etc.). No other information is required at this time. Based upon the responses received, the Government will determine the set-aside method for the procurement. An award will not be made on offers received in response to this notice. This source sought synopsis is not a Request for Quote (RFQ); it is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of sources.
