- Description
- The Department of Commerce National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) will be hosting an Industry Day for current and prospective vendors on Thursday, June 7, 2018. This NOAA/NIST Industry Day is intended to provide vendors information about the work performed at NOAA/NIST and to enable them to gain a better understanding of how to best market their supplies and/or services to NOAA/NIST. NOAA and NIST have varied requirements including scientific equipment and scientific, technical, and engineering services, construction, cyber security, information technology products and services, etc. At this event, vendors will have an opportunity to listen to speakers, pose questions, and attend informational break-out sessions. Additionally, there will be time to network with other vendors. Location: The NOAA/NIST Industry Day will be held at:Department of Commerce National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Building 1 Auditorium 325 Broadway Street Boulder, CO 80305 The Industry Day will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. No food or beverages will be served as part of the Industry Day. This is a FREE event. Due to space constraints, we would appreciate if companies limit the registration to two (2) individuals per organization. REGISTRATION IS ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH MAY 31, 2018 AT 11:59 PM. NOTE: This is NOT a "bidder's conference" and this announcement is not a request for proposal, a promise to contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government will not assume liability for costs incurred by any vendor for travel, marketing efforts or data offered for examination. Therefore, the cost of preparing information in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct or indirect charge to the Government. THE AGENDA IS FORTHCOMING.
