- The US Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) has a requirement for Two (2) new heavy-duty slant bed, single carriage, CNC controlled, 3-axis (X, Z, C) engine lathes for Watervliet Arsenal (WVA). The solicitation will be issued on a Full and Open Competition basis and will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. Contractors should not contact the Buyer seeking the solicitation, as it will not be available until approximately 15 days after issuance of this notice. Disclaimer: This is a Pre-Solicitation Synopsis and is NOT a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of the information contained in this posting or information received as a result of this posting. The contents of any future formal Request for Proposal (RFP) takes precedence over anything contained herein. Caution: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the website in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in rejection of same.
