- 12148418R0002 XB443-0.4 Bartlett AOP Culvert Pictures The Forest Service is soliciting bids to complete the removal and replacement of a culvert on National Forest System Road (NFSR) XB443, over a tributary to Albany Brook in Bartlett, NH within the White Mountain National Forest, Bartlett Experimental Forest. The contractor(s) shall provide all expertise, labor, supervision, services, equipment, tools, supplies, permits, coordination with utilities, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform the roadway repairs and other associated minor activities. The desired outcome is in strict accordance with the standards attached to this solicitation and adherence to the contract awarded. The awarded contract shall constitute the entire agreement including all terms and conditions applicable to the contract. Work shall be completed as shown in the drawings, maps and specifications as referenced or included in this contract. Work includes, but is not limited to soil erosion and sediment control, excavation, embankment, select borrow and surface gravel haul and placement, removal of obstructions, steel reinforced concrete placement, riprap placement, structural plate-arch installation, streambed simulation, installation of guardrail, and seeding and mulch. Pre-bid Tour - April 18, 2018 @ 10:00 am - From the intersection of Bear Notch Road and US 302 in Bartlett, New Hampshire, travel south on Bear Notch Road for approximately 0.7 miles to road gate. Meeting will start at gate. Questions and answers from the pre-bid tour will be posted to the solicitation. THE BID DUE DATE WILL NOT CHANGE - PROPOSALS ARE DUE AT 2:00 PM MAY 4TH, 2018. PICTURES OF THE SITE ARE ATTACHED.
