- Solicitation Number: CC-BLRI007-19 Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: The National Park Service (NPS) issued a Request for Expression of Interest (RFEI) to receive input regarding potential services at the Bluffs Restaurant and Gift Shop at Doughton Park along the Blue Ridge Parkway at Milepost 241, between Laurel Springs and Sparta, North Carolina. A site visit has been set for April 4, 2018, and expressions of interest, questions, and/or comments must be received by the Blue Ridge Parkway no later than May 4, 2018. The point of contact at the Blue Ridge Parkway is Laura Nelson, Concessions Management Specialist, Blue Ridge Parkway, 199 Hemphill Knob Road, Asheville, NC 28805, laura_s_nelson@nps.gov, 828 348-3407. ALL INTERESTED PARTIES intending to attend the scheduled site visit MUST SEND AN EMAIL MESSAGE to Laura Nelson at the email above, no later than 5:00 pm EST on March 30, 2018, to reserve a spot. At that time, you will receive further instructions regarding the site visit. The email must provide the following information: name of company or organization, a list of ALL attendees (full name), name of the primary contact, including email and phone number. Due to space constraints, interested parties will be limited to a total of six (6) people per company or organization. Additionally, the site visit will provide access to areas not open to the public; therefore, no one under the age of 18 will be permitted on the site visit.
