Description

Subject: Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central intends to issue a sole-source contract to Ortho Clinical Diagnostics to provide MTS gel cards to be used with the government owed Provue Analyzer located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, TX. The sole-source contract will have a final date of 30 September 2019; Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract and 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, will also be included in the contract to be used if necessary. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 339113 and the Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 6515. The SBA size standard is 700 employees. The solicitation number is W81K00-18-R-0036, and is generated for the purposes of posting this notice of intent and the final Justification and Approval (J&A) document. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responses received, to include capability statements, within 1 day of the posting of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the interim purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
