- Market Survey Sources Sought This is not a request for either a quote or proposal. This announcement is considered market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. NO SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED AT THIS TIME. THE DLA LAND AND MARITIME IS ISSUING THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS AS A MEANS OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH TO IDENTIFY PARTIES HAVING AN INTEREST IN AND THE RESOURCES TO SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: NSN 5998-01-433-7034 ITEM: backplane assembly Approved sources: Cobham Advanced Electronic 93346 P/N CCS33700 Remec Defense and Space Inc. 47JY7 P/N CCS33700 The cited drawing (IAW REFERENCE DRAWING NR 4U884 656182 revision NR D DTD 06/08/2017) is source controlled. Only sources called out on the source controlled drawing are eligible for award. This item is coded AMSC of "B" and only the sources cited on the drawing and/or the solicitation have been approved by the cognizant design activity specified on the source controlled drawing. Procurement Note L22-SOURCE CONTROLLED: Restriction of Alternate Offers on Source Controlled Items will be included in any resultant solicitation. A quantity of 20 each up to 50 each may be required and will be shipped to a DLA stocking location. The Purpose of this synopsis is to locate sources interested in becoming approved sources. Submission Instructions: Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) must be sent to Katrina Newman via email at katrina.newman@dla.mil by the response date listed in this synopsis and should include in their submission, information on their products/services, company, CAGE code, capability, company size/profile, and any other supportive information. Respondents will be placed on the solicitation mailing list. This RFI is for market research purposes only. Any information submitted is at the company's own expense. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of capability statements in connection with the market survey. Any information provided is voluntary.
